Mint Sage Extract

Best bottled with week old kombucha. I do two or three weeks. I like mine zingy. Bottle it to about 3/4 to the top of the bottle and syrup leaving ample room for gas. All has to be room temp. No hot liquids. Dont kill those good probiotic babies. Check after a week for carbonation, if too sweet wait.


  • 2 cups water.
  • 2 cups sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons crushed dried sage.
  • 2 tablespoons crushed dried peppermint.


  1. Bring to a boil.
  2. Turn down to medium for 5 minutes.
  3. Then take off burner and let sit 30 minutes.
  4. Strain.
  5. Cool.
